Speaker 1:

Happy St Patrick's Day. This is Cloud of Witnesses.

Speaker 2:

Journey with the Saints.

Speaker 1:

We hope that you enjoy this episode.

Speaker 2:

Enjoy.

Speaker 3:

Beware.

Speaker 4:

Beware, lord Ohan, of what Tell me, you fools, have patience, king Ohan.

Speaker 3:

I've had enough of these Druids' rantings. Ashlyn, if you cannot stand by me, then you are not fit to be my wife, my queen. Our time, ohan, our time is coming to an end. I'll have your Druid head if you keep speaking such prophecies. Alistair, there is one greater who shall topple our kingdom, the crucified one and his servants.

Speaker 5:

Lord, lord, help me.

Speaker 3:

Patrick.

Speaker 5:

I'll hide over there.

Speaker 3:

Patrick. Christ on my right, christ on my left.

Speaker 6:

Word, that pesky little where I run off to.

Speaker 5:

Christ where I lie, christ where I sit, your beating's gonna be the worst yet for this one.

Speaker 6:

Patrick, I'll find you, you'll never escape.

Speaker 5:

Christ where I arise. There it is the boat, just as the angel told me. Oh Lord, freedom, at last. I arise through a mighty strength, through the invocation of the Trinity. Sailors, men, take me with you back home, away from Ireland and back to Britain.

Speaker 4:

Hello and welcome to Cloud of Witnesses' Journey with the Saints a dynamic full cast retelling of the lives of the Saints.

Speaker 3:

You're a fraud, patrick a fraud. How can we trust a man with a past like you to lead the?

Speaker 5:

faith of Britain. My dear flock, let us not be so easily Please hear news from other priests.

Speaker 4:

You're not even a man of learning.

Speaker 5:

My dear flock, let us not be so easily swayed by the words of others.

Speaker 2:

You probably bought your place in the church with their family's money.

Speaker 4:

First drinking parties as a boy and now you play the saint as a man.

Speaker 5:

Lord.

Speaker 3:

Lord.

Speaker 5:

Why have you chosen me, the sinner and the fool, to be elected as bishop?

Speaker 6:

Your grace, Father Patrick, we'll be joining the rest of the brothers for dinner tonight, Ah oh no, brother Mark, I've too much to keep up with today.

Speaker 5:

Please tell the brothers to proceed without me. I should have never told my life story to my fellow priests when I was studying abroad. I try to receive consolation, but now it seems I reap the fruit of gossip.

Speaker 6:

Your Grace. Not all believe what they hear. I for one believe it was God who has chosen you to be our next hierarch.

Speaker 5:

Thank, you, father Mark, pray for me as sinner. I feel as though I am not wanted here.

Speaker 6:

I shall continue praying for you. There are many people who need you.

Speaker 5:

Your Grace, ha ha, ha ha ha ha, we shall see, brother, we shall see. Good night, and may the Lord's blessing be upon you.

Speaker 3:

Oh, patrick, we need you, lord, patrick, we need you, it's so dark.

Speaker 4:

Where am I? Read, read, patrick, read, oh, oh, the voice of the Irish. Patrick, come back. We need you. Come back to Ireland.

Speaker 6:

Teach us in line, necessarily. Father Walk among us yet again. Read Patrick.

Speaker 3:

Read Patrick. It's so dark, where am I?

Speaker 5:

Is this my calling? Is it my calling to go back and teach a people who enslaved me? Ha ha, ha ha. And yet I feel hardly at home here, in my motherland as well.

Speaker 3:

My people, my people, as we gather on this sacred burial hill of Tara, my subjects, let us invoke the blessings of our ancestors and gods that our land and people may prosper. High Priest Alistair, light the fire of Tara and let the feast begin. Yes, my lord, this is a night of memories to be. Oh Han, this may be one of our last great feasts of Tara. What have you seen? Is this one of your idiotic prophecies? Alistair, our enemy, he approaches Ohan. I can feel his presence ever drawing closer. Then let him draw near, we shall defeat this foe. Landhold.

Speaker 4:

Landhold.

Speaker 6:

Your grace, did you hear.

Speaker 5:

We're almost ashore, ireland is in sight, glory to God Christ, to protect us against poison, against burning, against drowning, against wounding.

Speaker 6:

I can't help but be nervous. Many call Ireland a godforsaken island, full of looters and scoundrels and devil worshipers.

Speaker 5:

Christ in every eye that sees me, christ in every ear that hears me. Lord, grant us strength. It is time to renounce the false gods of your ancestors who, having been deluded by evil spirits and the passions, came to worship created things rather than the Creator. Take this three leaf clover as an example of the all holy trinity Father, son and Holy Spirit. Although there are three leaves, it is yet one clover. But, brothers and sisters, let us not try to peer too deeply into the mind of God, but rather let us embrace him as his children and receive baptism, as Christ, his only begotten Son, has shown us to do. I, the unworthy servant of God, patrick, baptize you in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

Speaker 4:

Glory to God for sending us this holy man, Patrick.

Speaker 6:

Pray for his missionaries. Although the Lord has been good to us, there are still many forces who would like to see us off this island.

Speaker 3:

No, no. Oh hon, our kingdom, what? What do you mean? Our kingdom? I've had it with you giving me bad omens. Oh hon, no sacrifice May sweeten your feast of Tara this year. Oh, hans, no sacrifice may sweeten your feast of Tara this year. I've had enough, oh.

Speaker 4:

Hans, my king, please be patient and listen to Al's darts' prophecy. We may be able to change our destiny.

Speaker 3:

Speak on Alight, oh, hans, alight, alight greater than the sacred bonfire of Tara shall be lit for the crucified one. If it is not put out tonight, it will never be extinguished. The one who lit it and the kingdom he is bringing upon us this night will overcome us all, both you and us, by leading everyone away from your kingdom, ohan.

Speaker 4:

There we may be able to stop it, Ohan.

Speaker 3:

Gods, gods and sentries shall be placed all around our banquet table. On this feast of Tara. No one shall quench our sacred flame, not even this Patrick and his accursed believers.

Speaker 5:

Come receive the light from the light that is never over taken by night and glory.

Speaker 3:

This shall be our greatest feast of Tara. Yet Men Gather more firewood. We shall light the greatest bonfire yet. Malor, lord Ohan, what, what is it? A fire has been lit Before the feast of Tara. It must be the Christians, ohan, the Christians Alasdair. I've had enough of this. I want you to find him. Yes, that Patrick, and kill all those with him With pleasure. My lord Men, follow that accursed light.

Speaker 5:

Let us remember on this sacred pascal night that Christ has risen in triumph.

Speaker 3:

Father Patrick.

Speaker 6:

Over there we're being ambushed. It's Ohan's men, they're coming for us, Quickly and quietly.

Speaker 5:

Everyone Blow out the torches and candles. Follow me down the hill.

Speaker 3:

Look, look, look.

Speaker 6:

I'm on the bend Over there, let's go, come on, shhh.

Speaker 5:

God's host to secure me against snares of devils, against temptation of vices, against inclinations of nature, against everyone who shall wish me illa.

Speaker 6:

Father, they're approaching.

Speaker 5:

Pray, everyone pray.

Speaker 3:

Come on, men, follow that Patrick Over here. Soldiers, get your bows ready. They could be anywhere.

Speaker 5:

Against incantations of false prophets.

Speaker 3:

Patrick, where are you, you accursed Christian?

Speaker 5:

Against every knowledge that endangers man's body and soul.

Speaker 3:

Men follow them down the hill with speed. Come on, men.

Speaker 4:

We were about to be killed. This is a miracle of God.

Speaker 6:

We've been spared.

Speaker 5:

Come, let us go back to the village and begin our work of God in the morning.

Speaker 3:

What? What do you mean? They got away. Lord Ohan, we saw nothing on the whole hillside. Savor herd of deer. My lord, what do we do? We cannot save our people.

Speaker 5:

I arise today through a mighty strength, the invocation of the Trinity, through belief in the threeness, through confession of the oneness towards the Creator. Salvation is of the Lord. Salvation is of the Lord, salvation is of Christ. May thy salvation, o Lord, be ever with us.

Speaker 1:

Wow, what an episode.

Speaker 2:

What an episode indeed. Happy St Patrick's Day everyone.

Speaker 1:

Happy St Patrick's Day. I hope you guys like the green lighting behind me in honor of St Patrick's Day.

Speaker 2:

We're really, really happy to be back in the swing of things. As you know maybe you don't know I was gone overseas, actually in the Philippines, for a while, but we're glad to be. You know, hitting the ground running and we've got several more saints stories actually coming up, so we are happy to get those on the production line.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, absolutely, we've got what we already have two and whatnot. And then, yeah, I think we have at least Nick, what a couple of scripts that are still haven't been done yet. Yeah, that's great. Yeah, you guys it's. We are so grateful that you're here right now. It's been 2024 has been a bit of a whirlwind so far because, as Nick mentioned, you know, we spent that early week or so of January 2024 getting ready for Nick to be gone overseas for a month and we knew he wouldn't have much internet connection and whatnot, and so we really kind of front loaded a lot of things and then we had to power through that month to get by and, by God's grace, we made it, we did it, and so, as Nick was saying, now it's like okay, now we got to get back into the old swing of things on a regular schedule. Yeah, yeah, keep us in your prayers.

Speaker 2:

Technology permitting.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, exactly, say something about that, nick, go ahead. I mean it's real, tell the audience.

Speaker 2:

Well, you know, by God's grace and with everyone's support, you know we've got a lot of great projects that we want to work on, but technological issues is just nothing is working. Our programs just. I mean, yeah, we've had falling apart laptops, we've had PCs that need to get returned, just anything that's possible. It's not working. I feel like at this point, anything my hands touch is falling apart. It's actually extremely frustrating.

Speaker 2:

But I mean certain projects have been worked on on three different computers, simply because it just everything's falling apart. I don't know why, so just keep us in your prayers. Yes, extremely frustrating, but we're still trying to plug ahead.

Speaker 1:

We're trying to power through, by God's grace, absolutely yeah, and Nick, I you know we've said this internally, we've said this amongst ourselves and but I think our audience is not afraid to hear this. You know there's a spiritual battle. You know in the world and certainly you know there are so many things going on in this world, so many challenges that the church faces. And you know, obviously, cloud of witnesses is just a tiny, tiny little thing, you know, in the whole spectrum of things, but it's important to us, you know it's important to our community, by God's grace, and I'm convinced that there are some, you know, spirits that don't want it to succeed.

Speaker 2:

They don't want it to get to more ears and eyes, and so I can honestly say I've never had so many technical issues in my life until starting up this podcast. It's, it's really crazy yeah.

Speaker 1:

Well, really recently though, like not even very recently, we've been a whole year with almost nothing.

Speaker 2:

No, it's true. It's like very recently, every recently ways. Prayers are much appreciated and we have a lot of projects that we want to work on and share with you, including music videos. Yeah, really. And many documentaries etc. So pray for us that we can do them. The grace of God.

Speaker 1:

Amen. And what you, what you guys out there maybe don't realize is even though sometimes you might notice that, you know, a few days have gone by without a new video or something of that nature Nick and I, by God's grace, we still we work on this every single day, Every single day where we're working on.

Speaker 1:

Cloud of Witnesses, and so there is a lot of stuff going on behind the scenes that we are very excited to bring to you and to you know, to bring it out to the glory of God, and our prayer continues to be that you will be edified by the content. So, amen, yeah, thank you for being here. Keep on journeying, amen, amen.

Speaker 2:

Okay, see you next time.

Speaker 1:

God bless you guys.
